  1. I find it quite intelligent that NFL players are looking into franchising. It's no secret that while you are being payed to play professional football you will be making a great deal of money, but that only lasts for so many years and after your career is over there is a lot of time for you to do something with your money. Franchising is the perfect idea especially since these football players an easily afford the startup fees and royalties that a lot of other people would need tough loans to get. Franchising is a much safer way to invest your money in my personal opinion and investing in some franchises during your football career could be a perfect way to set up a solid form of income for the future after football.

  2. This article comes to show that the franchise industry is available to everyone, even athletes coming out of professional sports with the urge of doing more for themselves. The stories of the NFL professional athletes demonstrate that even though they already make so much money with their athletic careers they also seek to make even more money through the franchising industry. The NFL bootcamp serves as a great way to promote the franchising industry to those who barely know about it. They know that by helping people understand such a great business model, many more people can benefit from it. Brees example of how he got into the industry is very significant, because one of the main factors of any successful business is believing in the concept, as Brees prove to do.

  3. One of the things that I love the most about Franchising is how simple and easy it is for Franchisees to understand how the business works. This article is the perfect example, because it shows how NFL players, who are usually people who dedicated their entire lives to Football and nothing but Football, can easily run their own business, and learn from it at the same time. The only problem with franchising is that it requires an initial high investment, therefore, only people with high incomes like the NFL players can take advantage of it. Being a franchisee is basically having money working for money.

  4. This article proves something very important in franchising. To be able to be a succesful franchisee one does not have to have all the knoweldge in the world but the ambition. Football players with alot of money, decide to invest it smartly and make money franchising. Football players are not so clear with the business world due to the fact that they dedicate their entire life to football, but are still capable of being succefull in the franchising industry, this means that franchising is open to everybody.

  5. Time and time again you hear of former professional athletes losing all their money and how they're struggling to survive. In fact, Sports Illustrated claims that 78% of NFL players face bankruptcy within two years of leaving the professional arena. Unfortunately, it's due to their own poor financial decisions. It is so important that these athletes have an opportunity to franchise because I truly believe that it would be the best option for most of them. They receive training from corporate and they have the support of other former or current professionals. I'm happy to see that the NFL took a proactive role in helping these athletes connect to perfect and fine tone their business endeavors.
